SKU CH-WECR-DNXPZ

Reduces a 2-inch male thread to a 3/4-inch female thread using no-lead cast bronze for potable water safety

  • No-lead bronze reduces health risk
  • California Prop 65 warning discloses chemical exposure
  • 2in male to 3/4in female threads adapt pipe sizes
  • Cast bronze construction resists corrosion
  • Hex shape allows standard wrench installation

Application Scope

This no-lead hex bushing connects a two-inch male NPT thread to a three-quarter-inch female NPT thread in potable-water and irrigation manifolds. It suits installers who need a lead-free bronze fitting for drinking-water systems where Proposition 65 disclosure is required.

Installation Check

Verify that both mating threads are clean NPT and that the surrounding pipework is sized for the two-inch by three-quarter-inch reduction. Confirm local code accepts no-lead cast bronze for the intended pressure and temperature range before assembly.

Sustained Service

Cast bronze construction resists dezincification and scaling during continuous water flow, keeping the reduced bore clear over long periods. The no-lead alloy maintains compliance with Proposition 65 limits throughout the fitting’s installed life.
