1" 45° Bronze Street Elbow

This 1 inch bronze street elbow provides a 45 degree change of direction in piping systems. It features female NPT threads on one end and male NPT threads on the other for direct connection. The cast bronze construction offers corrosion resistance for water and gas lines. It is manufactured with no lead content for potable water compliance.

Simple Threaded Installation

Installation requires only standard pipe wrenches and thread sealant on the tapered NPT threads. The street design eliminates the need for a separate nipple when connecting to a female fitting. Over-tightening can crack the bronze casting so stop when the joint feels snug and leak-free. Always pressure test the system before burying or concealing the assembly.

Suited for Potable Water Systems

This fitting suits plumbers and contractors working on lead-free potable water or hydronic heating projects. The no-lead bronze meets California Proposition 65 requirements for safer drinking water components. It is not intended for high-pressure hydraulic systems exceeding standard plumbing ratings. Buyers needing a 90 degree turn or a different thread configuration should select another fitting.
