1" Forged Brass Ball Valve

The Legend Valve 101-625 is a 1 inch T-1007 forged brass full-port ball valve designed for plumbing and compressed-air systems. It connects a female NPT thread on one end to a sweat copper fitting on the other. The full-port bore maintains unrestricted flow through the valve body. Installers and maintenance technicians use it for shut-off service in residential and light-commercial piping.

FNPT x Sweat Connection

The single specification that decides fit is the mixed end connection: one side is female National Pipe Thread and the other is a sweat socket for copper tube. Both ends are sized for 1 inch nominal pipe. Verify that the mating pipe and fitting match these exact connection types before purchase. The valve cannot join two threaded ends or two sweat ends without additional adapters.

Full-Port Flow Capacity

The full-port design passes the same cross-sectional area as the connected 1 inch pipe, so pressure drop across the valve is minimal when fully open. It comfortably handles standard water, air and inert-gas services within the pressure class of the forged brass body. The valve runs out of headroom in applications that require a higher pressure rating than the T-1007 class provides or where a different end connection such as double-threaded or flanged is specified.
