Two-pack high-yield black cartridges

This two-pack supplies two LD Products 786XL T786XL120 high-yield black ink cartridges for Epson WorkForce and WorkForce Pro printers. Each cartridge is remanufactured and filled with dye-based ink rated for approximately 2600 pages at 5 percent coverage under the ISO/IEC test standard. The set replaces the standard 786 T786120 black cartridge and works with models 4630, 4640, 5110, 5190, 5620 and 5690 purchased in the United States and Canada.

Practical limits of remanufactured dye-based ink

Page yield is measured at 5 percent coverage, so documents with heavy graphics or solid fills will produce fewer prints. Dye-based ink can be less water-resistant than pigment formulations and may fade faster under prolonged direct light. The cartridges are guaranteed to function only in printers originally sold in the United States and Canada; printers from other regions may not recognise the chips. Using these replacements does not void the printer warranty.

Straightforward drop-in installation

Each cartridge installs like the original Epson unit: open the printer cover, wait for the carriage to centre, remove the old cartridge and insert the new one until it clicks. The most common issue is a "cartridge not recognised" message caused by a dirty chip contact or a firmware update that blocks third-party chips; wiping the contact with a lint-free cloth usually resolves it. If the printer still rejects the cartridge, power-cycling the device often clears the error.
