It is designed for air and water conveyance in plumbing and drainage applications where visual flow monitoring is helpful. The Shore A 73 hardness provides a balance of flexibility and kink resistance for general-purpose use.

Installation Requirements and Space Savings

The tubing operates at a maximum of 25 psi at 70 degrees F and up to 150 degrees F, so it needs system pressures and temperatures that stay within those limits. Its flexibility allows routing around obstacles without rigid fittings, freeing up space in tight mechanical rooms or equipment cabinets. It is not compatible with peristaltic pumps, so alternative pump types must be used.

Capacity and Operational Limits

The 100 ft length supplies long continuous runs with few joints, reducing potential leak points in drain or low-pressure supply lines. The 25 psi pressure ceiling and 150 degree F temperature ceiling define the envelope; systems exceeding either value will require a different hose specification.
