Reinforced Kraft Tape for Heavy-Duty Sealing

This 3-inch wide water-activated gummed tape uses fiberglass reinforcement to reach a 50-70lbs break strength. The natural brown kraft paper backing resists tearing and stretching during transit. It creates a permanent bond with corrugated cartons that cannot be removed without visible damage. Shippers handling high-value goods gain a reliable tamper-evident seal on every parcel.

450-Foot Roll Capacity and Strength Limits

One roll supplies 450 feet of continuous sealing length for high-volume packing stations. The 50-70lbs tensile rating handles heavy cartons and rough handling without snapping. Fiberglass threads prevent the tape from stretching under load, keeping boxes tightly closed. Very light envelopes or padded mailers may not need this level of reinforcement and could use a lighter tape instead.

Water-Activated Application and Custom Print Ready

A gummed adhesive activates with water, so a dispenser or sponge is required at the packing bench. Once wetted, the glue penetrates carton fibres for a bond that becomes part of the box surface. The kraft paper face accepts ink, allowing logos or handling instructions to be printed directly on the tape. Operations without a water source or preferring pressure-sensitive tape will need a different product.
