3oz tube capacity and activator range

The 3oz creme tube provides enough product for a standard full-head application on medium-length hair; longer or very thick hair may require a second tube. The colour must be mixed with Kenra Color Permanent Coloring Creme Activator, available in strengths from 10 to 40 volume, to achieve the desired lift and deposit. Without the activator the creme cannot develop and will not produce any colour change.

Permanent creme colour system limits

This permanent creme system relies on oxidative development, so it cannot be used as a direct-deposit or semi-permanent gloss without activator. The ultra ash tone is formulated to neutralise warm undertones, but it will not lift previously coloured hair lighter than its own level; pre-lightening would be needed for darker bases. Results vary with hair porosity, previous chemical history and the activator volume selected.
