Portable gaming dock

The KEHIPI Purple 8-in-1 docking station connects compatible handheld consoles to external displays and wired networks. It supports the ASUS ROG Ally, ROG Ally X, Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw and Valve Steam Deck models. The hub adds HDMI video, Gigabit Ethernet and three USB-A 3.0 ports through a single USB-C link. A 100W power-delivery charger is included in the package.

Thermals and power

The aluminium enclosure passively dissipates heat during typical desktop use with a monitor and peripherals attached. No active cooling fan is present, so operation stays silent while the dock handles 4K@144Hz HDMI 2.1 output and Gigabit Ethernet traffic. The 100W PD input negotiates up to 65W for the ROG Ally or 45W for the Steam Deck, leaving headroom for the three downstream USB-A 3.0 ports. Power draw scales with the connected console and attached accessories.

Sustained load behaviour

During extended gaming sessions the dock maintains the 30W Turbo mode on the ROG Ally when the BIOS is updated to version 323. The HDMI 2.1 link holds 4K at 144Hz without throttling, and the Gigabit Ethernet port keeps a stable wired connection for online play. The 100W charger continues to supply the negotiated voltage so the console battery does not drain while docked. Protective cases with integrated kickstands prevent the USB-C connector from seating fully, so they must be removed before use.
