This Kastar AC wall charger replaces the original Sony power supply for a long list of Handycam and Cyber-shot models. It accepts AC 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz and delivers DC 8.4 V at 600 mA to compatible NP-FH series batteries. The foldable flat plug makes it easy to pack for travel. Steady 600 mA Output Under Continuous Use

The charger maintains its rated 600 mA output during a full charge cycle without dropping to a lower trickle rate. A red LED stays lit while current flows and switches to green when the battery reaches full charge or the charger is idle. This constant-current behaviour means charge times remain predictable even when the unit is left plugged in for extended periods. No fan or active cooling is fitted, so the case warms slightly but stays within normal limits.

Plug-In Installation With Simple LED Feedback

Installation consists of folding out the flat pins, inserting the charger into a mains socket, and sliding a compatible NP-FH battery onto the contacts. The only common issue is inserting the battery at an angle, which prevents the red charging light from appearing. Re-seating the battery squarely on the contacts restores normal operation.
