High-Side Gauge for HVAC Manifolds
The JB Industries M2-605 is a replacement high-side pressure gauge designed for manifold gauge sets used in HVAC service work. It measures system pressure from 0 to 800 psi with a stated accuracy of +/- 1.00 percent. The 3-1/8 inch dial features a red colour code for quick high-side identification. Technicians performing refrigerant charging or diagnostics on compatible systems will find this gauge fits standard manifold configurations.
Quick-Coupler Connection
A 1/4 inch female quick coupler allows the gauge to snap onto manifold hoses without tools or thread sealant. The non-liquid-filled movement eliminates the risk of fluid leaks inside the instrument. Factory calibration covers use with R-290, R-600A and R-32 refrigerants, so the same gauge can serve hydrocarbon and lower-GWP applications. No additional adapters or software are bundled with the unit.
Simple Manifold Installation
Installation consists of pressing the quick coupler onto the manifold high-side port until it locks. The most common issue is a worn or dirty O-ring in the coupler seat, which causes a slow leak and low readings. Technicians should inspect the seal and lubricate it with compatible refrigerant oil before each use. Over-tightening the coupler by hand can deform the seal and create the same symptom.

Questions about this item
Does the gauge need periodic recalibration or liquid refill?
The gauge is non liquid filled and rated at ±1.00 % accuracy, so no liquid refill is needed; recalibration is only required if readings drift outside that tolerance.
What is the maximum sustained pressure the gauge can handle?
The working pressure range tops out at 800 psi, so sustained operation above that value exceeds the gauge limit.
Will the gauge heat up or make noise during all-day use?
As a purely mechanical dial with no powered components, it produces no noise and generates no measurable heat during continuous operation.
