17″ Widescreen Privacy Filter

The Innovera IVRBLF170W is a frameless privacy filter designed for 17″ widescreen notebooks and LCD monitors. It uses Micro-Louver technology to limit the viewing angle so that on-screen data is visible only to the person sitting directly in front of the display. The filter also reduces glare and protects the screen surface from scratches and dust. A microfiber cleaning cloth is included for maintenance.

The filter maintains its privacy effect continuously without requiring power or software, so performance does not degrade over long work sessions. Its antiglare surface provides up to 99% glare reduction, keeping reflections low even under bright office lighting for extended periods. The frameless overlay design stays flat against the monitor, preventing dust buildup at the edges during months of use. Contrast enhancement remains stable, helping reduce eye strain during all-day viewing.

Installation and Common Issues

The frameless sheet overlays the monitor surface directly for a built-in look, requiring no brackets or adhesive strips. Alignment is critical; if the filter is not centred precisely on the 17″ diagonal, the narrow viewing angle can cut off the edges of the image. Users sometimes forget to clean the screen with the supplied cloth before applying the filter, which traps dust bubbles that are difficult to remove later.
