Metro Series Kneespace Credenza

The HON P3231CL is a kneespace credenza designed for professional office environments. It provides a dedicated workspace surface combined with integrated storage drawers. The unit suits users who need a practical, organised layout for daily administrative tasks.

Replaces freestanding desk-and-cabinet sets

This credenza consolidates a work surface and filing storage into a single footprint. The jump is worthwhile when floor space is limited and a separate desk plus lateral file would crowd the room. Buyers who need a larger continuous top for multiple monitors or drafting should look elsewhere.

Fits against a wall or in a U-shaped configuration

The 3/4-height modesty panel adds privacy for the seated user while leaving the rear open for wall access. Wire grommets route cables cleanly through the top. Full-extension file cradles and three-quarter-extension box drawers keep supplies reachable without blocking the kneespace.

Questions about this item

Will the 60w x 24d footprint fit in my available floor space?

The credenza measures 60 inches wide by 24 inches deep, so confirm your floor area accommodates those exact dimensions before ordering.

How do I attach the modesty panel and avoid the common alignment issue?

The 3/4-height modesty panel bolts to the inside of the end panels; the step most people miss is tightening the bolts only after all four corners are started, otherwise the panel can bind.

When will the nylon rollers on the box drawers need attention?

The box drawers ride on nylon rollers that should be cleaned and lightly lubricated once a year to keep the three-quarter extension smooth.
