This 50-piece #9 aluminium clothesline wire arrives in a silver finish with a blue coating. The 12 connected strands add extra shine for decorative keepsake projects. It is manufactured in China and supplied new for immediate use.

Not suited for heavy-duty structural use

The lightweight aluminium construction is designed for memory-book and craft applications rather than load-bearing tasks. Buyers needing high-tensile wire for outdoor lines or industrial fastening should select a different material.

Questions about this item

Will the blue coating on the #9 aluminum wire wear off and need replacing?

The blue coating protects the aluminum; replace the wire if the coating cracks or the wire kinks.

Does the 12-connected length sag first under constant tension?

Yes, the 12-connected design will stretch and sag before the aluminum itself fails.
