The Glow Edge 17" White Beauty Dish attaches to Broncolor Pulso mount flash heads and uses a double parabolic reflector system to blend direct flash characteristics with softbox-like wrap. It is built for photographers who want striking portraiture and fashion images with enhanced contrast and a dramatic directed beam. The white interior produces a softer output than a silver dish while still revealing fine subject detail. It suits head and shoulders portraits, dramatic figure studies and confined spaces where larger modifiers are impractical.

Sustained Studio Use

The dish reflects light backwards from a small opaque cover into the larger bowl, creating a wide cast of softer light without direct spill on the subject. This optical path remains consistent during extended shooting sessions because the all-metal construction does not sag or shift under continuous flash output. The white finish maintains its reflective properties over time, so contrast levels and wrap-around quality stay predictable from the first frame to the last. There are no fabric surfaces to degrade or frames to loosen under repeated heat cycles.

Broncolor Pulso Mount Constraint

The modifier locks exclusively to the Broncolor Pulso bayonet, so it cannot be used on Profoto, Bowens, Elinchrom or other mount systems without a dedicated adapter. Photographers invested in a different flash ecosystem will need a separate beauty dish or a mount conversion kit. The 17" diameter fixes the beam spread and working distance; users who need a tighter spot or a broader flood must choose a different size dish. The opaque centre cover is integral and not removable, so the characteristic reflection pattern cannot be altered to bare-bulb output.
