Cuts circles from 7/8" to 4" in metal, wood and plastics using a 1/4" combination shank
The General Tools 4 circle cutter cuts clean circles in sheet metal, mild steel, hardboard, plywood, brass and copper. Its combination 1/4 inch round and square shank fits a drill chuck or hand brace. The tool handles diameters from 7/8 inch to 4 inches using a 1/4 inch pilot drill and 3/16 inch bit.
Comfortable range covers 7/8 inch up to 4 inch circles in the listed materials. The 3/16 inch bit and 1/4 inch pilot provide stable guidance through thin stock. Harder or thicker metals may exceed the practical cutting depth and require a dedicated machine tool instead.
The 1/4 inch dual shank works with standard drill chucks and hand braces. Maximum circle diameter is fixed at 4 inches by the arm length. No larger radii or different shank sizes are supported by this model.
