Balanced 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm Adapter

The Geekria Apollo adapter converts a 2.5 mm balanced male plug into a 3.5 mm balanced female socket. It lets owners of portable players such as Astell&Kern, Cayin, FiiO, iBasso, Lotoo, Luxury & Precision, Onkyo and thebit connect headphones terminated with a 3.5 mm four-ring plug.

Aluminium Build and Gold-Plated Contacts

The body is machined from aluminium alloy measuring 1.81 by .24 inches (4.6 by .6 cm). Gold-plated rings on both the 2.5 mm male and 3.5 mm female connectors resist oxidation and maintain low contact resistance. The compact form adds negligible bulk to the cable chain during portable use.

Replaces Proprietary or Worn 2.5 mm Cables

This adapter replaces a dedicated 2.5 mm balanced cable when the headphone uses a 3.5 mm balanced termination. The upgrade is worth it when the original cable is lost, damaged or too short, and a high-quality 3.5 mm balanced cable is already available. It does not add balanced circuitry to single-ended sources.
