Practical Limits of the 0.01g Resolution

Readings below 3 g can lose accuracy, so very light powders or single beads should be verified by another method. The scale operates on two AAA zinc-carbon batteries included in the package and must sit on a hard, flat surface — carpet or uneven tops will distort results. Overloading past 500 g or exposing the electronics to water will also compromise the readings.
