Waterproof 35mm film camera

The Fujifilm QuickSnap Waterproof is a single-use 35mm camera built for wet and snowy conditions. It operates down to 17 feet underwater without an extra housing. Each pack contains two cameras pre-loaded with Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 800 film. It suits holiday makers, snorkelers and anyone needing a simple rugged option.

Larger shutter release for gloves

The camera features a larger-sized shutter release that can be pressed easily with cold or gloved hands. No batteries are required for basic operation. The sealed body prevents water ingress when used within the rated depth. Common issues include accidental opening of the film door before rewinding, which exposes the roll to light.

Check film speed and processing access

Verify that ISO 800 film matches the lighting you expect; it performs well in bright outdoor scenes but may grain in low light. Confirm you have access to a lab that develops 35mm colour negative film before shooting. Remember each camera yields a fixed number of exposures and cannot be reloaded.

Questions about this item

How do I know the camera is ready to shoot after I load it?

The larger shutter release moves smoothly and the frame counter advances to 1 when the film is engaged.

What comes in the pack and what must I supply myself?

Two waterproof cameras each pre-loaded with Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 800 35mm film; you only need processing after shooting.

Which version should I choose for deeper water use?

This model is rated for 17 feet underwater; choose it for pool or shallow snorkelling, not deeper dives.
