Round flash head for portraits

The Flashpoint eVOLV 200 Round Flash Head produces a circular, diffused light designed for flattering portraits and professional results. Its bare-bulb design centered in a bowl reflector delivers even illumination without the horizontal bar pattern typical of Fresnel heads. A frosted glass plate with a magnetic ring accepts snap-on modifiers such as gels, grids and diffusers. An integrated LED modelling light with three brightness levels aids composition.

Guide number 130 feet and 200 Ws output

The flash head offers a guide number of approximately 130 feet, providing strong output for on-location and studio work. The 200 Ws capacity handles individual portraits and small-group setups with room for modifier stacking. Larger groups or bright outdoor scenes may require additional heads or higher-power units. The rechargeable Li-Ion battery supports extended shooting sessions between charges.

Magnetic modifier mount and R2 wireless control

The magnetic ring on the frosted glass plate allows quick attachment of barndoors, snoots, bounce scoops and other accessories that can be stacked for creative control. R2 integration enables reliable wireless triggering and remote adjustment of power and settings. At 6.2 oz the head remains lightweight for travel and handheld use. The modular design fits the eVOLV 200 system for flexible off-camera configurations.
