Accelerator Rod Seal for Classic Bronco

The Fairchild Industries F4010 is a transparent accelerator rod seal boot designed for 1966 to 1977 Ford Bronco models. It replaces the original seal on the accelerator linkage to help keep debris and moisture out of the firewall penetration. The part is supplied new from the manufacturer and carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Verify Vehicle Year and Linkage Style

Confirm that your Bronco falls within the 1966 through 1977 model range before ordering. Check the existing accelerator rod and firewall boot for wear, cracking or missing sections to ensure this seal matches the factory configuration. The transparent colour allows visual inspection of the rod and surrounding area once installed.

Replaces Deteriorated Factory Boot

This seal upgrades a cracked, hardened or missing original boot that can allow engine heat, fumes and road debris into the cabin.
