The ESTONE U310 is a 16-foot active USB 3.0 extension cable with a male Type-A connector on one end and a female Type-A port on the other. It contains a built-in signal booster chip that maintains SuperSpeed 5 Gbps data rates over distances where passive cables would fail. The cable is intended for users who need to place USB 3.0 peripherals far from the host computer without losing performance.

Works With Standard USB-A Ports and Adds Power

The cable plugs directly into any USB 3.0 Type-A port and accepts any USB 3.0 or 2.0 Type-A device at the female end. A supplied 5V/2A power adapter connects to the cable to deliver stable current when the attached peripheral draws more than 900 mA.
