The Ergotron 31-018-182 is a 34-inch silver aluminium track that mounts to most vertical surfaces. It acts as a common interface for wall-mount arms and CPU holders, allowing an entire computer workstation to be suspended without using floor space. The extruded construction distributes weight over a larger area for a stronger installation.

Build integration and clearance

The track attaches directly to walls, cabinets or worksurfaces, freeing desk area for other equipment. Components slide vertically and lock in place by tightening set-screws, so monitors and CPUs can be positioned at the exact height required. The 42-inch by 5-inch footprint spans multiple studs, giving flexibility where fasteners land.

Sustained load behaviour

Aluminium extrusion resists bending under continuous equipment weight, maintaining alignment of mounted arms over time. Set-screw locking prevents gradual drift that can occur with friction-only rails. The zero-footprint design adds no protruding mass that could amplify vibration from building movement or nearby machinery.
