1/2" FNPT Brass 3-Way Electronic Ball Valve

This electrically actuated three-way ball valve uses a 1/2 inch FNPT connection and a two-piece brass body with nickel-chrome plated ball. It operates on 12V DC or 24V AC/DC power and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 400 psi. The valve includes a heater, position indicator, and thermal overload protection. It is designed for fluid control in plumbing and industrial systems.

Integration into piping systems

The valve requires a 1/2 inch female NPT thread on each port and a compatible 12V or 24V power supply for the actuator. PTFE and FKM seals handle a variety of media while the 300 psi maximum operating pressure differential sets the limit for flow control. The 90-degree actuator rotation with a 2.5 second cycle time determines the switching speed between ports. The fail-last position holds the last state during power loss.

Sustained operation behaviour

Under continuous use the actuator completes each 90-degree stroke in 2.5 seconds and the built-in heater helps maintain function in cold environments. Thermal overload protection guards the motor during extended cycling. PTFE seats and FKM seals resist wear at the 400 psi pressure rating and 100 psi steam limit. The fail-last design means the valve stays in its current position if power is interrupted.
