It suits maintenance crews, fabricators and inspectors who need legible white marks on dark or rough surfaces. The aluminium barrel with clip attachment keeps the marker secure on a pocket or vest. It is not suited for users who require fine-line detail or quick-drying ink for high-speed production lines.

Capacity and Temperature Range

The valve-actuated paint flow delivers consistent coverage across a broad thermal window from 0 to 350 degrees F, so marks remain stable in freezing conditions and high-heat environments. Dry time falls between 25 and 35 seconds, giving a short window for repositioning before the mark sets. The single marker provides limited volume for large-area colouring; teams covering extensive pipe runs or structural steel will need multiple units on hand.

Compliance and Usage Limits

The formulation meets MIL-STD-2041D requirements for military marking applications, while California Proposition 65 disclosure notes a listed chemical. GE nuclear and aircraft engine specification compliance is not applicable, so the marker should not be specified for those qualified programmes. The paint chemistry is tailored for the listed compatible surfaces; adhesion on unlisted substrates such as specialised coatings or oily metals cannot be assumed.
