Genuine OEM DMD/DLP Replacement Chip

This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip is a direct replacement component for Promethean ultra-short-throw projectors. It restores the imaging engine in UST-P1V1, UST-P1CV1, UST-P1G and UST-P1C models. Technicians and IT departments use it to return a projector to service after the original chip fails. It is not a complete projector or a lamp module.

Tested for Zero Dead Pixels

Each unit undergoes extensive testing, performed at least three times, to verify a clear projected image with no dead pixels. The chip handles the full imaging workload of the supported Promethean models once installed. It runs out of utility if the projector chassis, optics or other electronics are damaged, because the chip alone cannot compensate for failures elsewhere in the light path.

Replaces a Failed Original DMD Chip

This part replaces the factory-fitted DMD chip when it develops stuck mirrors, dead pixels or image artefacts. The jump is worth it when the projector hardware is otherwise sound and a full unit replacement is not budgeted. It is not for users whose projector uses a different imaging technology or a different chip form factor.
