Matte Polypropylene Tape for Label Protection

This case supplies 24 rolls of matte polypropylene tape measuring two inches by 72 yards. The non-glare surface supports electronic scanning and bar coding while remaining writable. Acrylic adhesive delivers 22 oz/in adhesion and 18 lbs/in tensile strength at a 2 mil thickness.

Upgrade from glossy or standard packaging tapes

Glossy finishes create glare that interferes with barcode readers and cannot be written on easily. The matte coating removes that reflection and accepts pen or pencil markings. The jump is worth it when labels must stay readable under scanners and survive handling in pharmacy, logistics or office environments.

Limits of acrylic adhesive and polypropylene film

Adhesion and tensile ratings hold across a 32 to 176 degree Fahrenheit range; outside this window bond strength may drop. The film stretches up to 120 percent before breaking, so extreme tension can cause elongation. Very rough, dusty or oily surfaces will reduce the 22 oz/in adhesion figure.
