Practical limits of the acrylic adhesive system

The tape bonds on contact, so repositioning is difficult once surfaces touch. It replaces screws, rivets and welds in many structural joints but will not fill large gaps between uneven substrates. Performance depends on surface cleanliness and adequate pressure during application. The product is sold as a single roll, so high-volume production lines will need multiple units.

If the joint requires a thinner or thicker adhesive layer, a different mil rating is necessary.
