High-Strength Black Polypropylene Tape

This case supplies ninety-six rolls of black tensilized polypropylene tape, each measuring three-quarters of an inch wide by sixty yards long. The acrylic adhesive delivers thirty-five ounces per inch of adhesion and a tensile strength of one hundred forty-five pounds per inch. It is suited for UV-resistant outdoor strapping, light-duty palletising, bundling and edge reinforcement where high holding power is required.

Temperature and Thickness Limits

The tape operates reliably between thirty and one hundred eighty degrees Fahrenheit, maintaining bond strength in both cold and heat. At four point three mils thick with thirty-five percent elongation, it resists moisture and staining but is not designed for heavy structural loads or continuous extreme tension beyond its rated tensile strength. Users needing wider rolls or higher temperature ceilings should look elsewhere.

Simple Application, Watch for Surface Prep

Rolls unwind cleanly for hand or dispenser application on clean, dry surfaces. The aggressive acrylic adhesive bonds quickly, so repositioning is difficult once contact is made. Dust, oil or frost on the substrate will reduce adhesion, and stretching the tape beyond its elongation limit can cause snap-back or edge lifting.
