3 Mil Thickness with 50 lbs/in Tensile Strength

The 3 mil film delivers 50 lbs/in tensile strength, giving enough headroom for standard single-wall and double-wall boxes up to typical shipping weights. The 80 oz/in adhesion rating ensures a secure seal on recycled fibreboard where glue uptake varies. Elongation of 160% allows the tape to stretch around irregular edges without snapping. Very heavy or over-filled cartons that exceed the tensile rating may require reinforced filament tape instead.

-10°F to 200°F Operating Range

The rubber adhesive remains functional across a -10°F to 200°F temperature range, so sealed cartons survive cold-chain transit and hot warehouse stacking alike. Polypropylene backing resists splitting when cartons flex during handling. No special storage climate is needed beyond avoiding prolonged direct sunlight. The tape produces standard unwind noise; no low-noise coating is specified.
