This solvent acrylic transfer tape comes in a case of 72 rolls, each 60 yards long and 2 mil thick. The unsupported adhesive layer bonds instantly to irregular surfaces without a carrier film. It is built for core starts, envelope closures, nameplates, decorative parts and flying splices at full line speed. The adhesive operates from -22 to 230 degrees Fahrenheit, so verify that your process stays inside this range. Confirm that the substrates can tolerate a solvent acrylic chemistry and that 23 oz/in adhesion meets the peel requirements of the application. The tape has 0 lbs/in tensile strength and 0% elongation, so it cannot carry mechanical load or stretch during dispensing. Ensure your splicer or applicator handles unsupported transfer tape without a liner.
