Dayton C1409 rigid caster wheel for steel-deck platform truck

Rigid caster for steel-deck trucks

The Dayton C1409 is a rigid caster wheel designed for use with steel-deck platform trucks. It provides fixed-direction mobility for heavy-duty material handling carts in warehouse and industrial settings. This component is intended for equipment maintenance or custom cart builds requiring straight-line travel.

Steel-deck mounting and fixed orientation

The rigid design means the wheel does not swivel, so it must be paired with swivel casters to allow the truck to turn. It mounts directly to the steel deck of a compatible platform truck for secure attachment. Buyers needing omnidirectional movement from a single caster or a different mounting pattern should select a swivel or alternative model.
