18-inch aluminium propeller for direct-drive blowers
This 18-inch aluminium propeller fits a 1/2-inch bore and is rated for one-third horsepower at 1722 or 1713 RPM. It has four blades set at a 25.8-degree pitch and a hub located on the intake side. The blade design supports clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation for direct-drive blower assemblies.
Pitch and bore determine airflow and motor fit
The 25.8-degree pitch sets the volume and pressure the blade can move at the rated speeds. A 1/2-inch bore matches shafts of that exact diameter; other shaft sizes will not fit without modification. Aluminium blades suit standard HVAC temperatures but are not rated for abrasive or high-heat industrial streams. The fixed pitch cannot be adjusted once installed.
Replaces worn or mismatched direct-drive blades
This propeller replaces an existing 18-inch, four-blade, direct-drive unit with the same bore, pitch and hub location. The change is worthwhile when the original blade is cracked, corroded or delivering insufficient airflow at 1722/1713 RPM. It does not suit belt-drive housings, multi-speed motors needing a different pitch, or blowers requiring a hub on the discharge side.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 18-inch diameter or a different size?
The propeller is 18 inches in diameter with a 25.8-degree pitch and a 1/2-inch bore; select it only if those three dimensions match the fan housing and motor shaft you are fitting it to.
What airflow can I expect from the 25.8-degree pitch at 1722 RPM?
At 1722 RPM the four aluminum blades move air at the rate defined by the 25.8-degree pitch and 18-inch diameter; actual CFM depends on system static pressure and motor horsepower.
Does the 1/2-inch bore fit a standard motor shaft directly?
The bore is 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) and the hub sits on the intake side; it mounts directly on a matching shaft with a set-screw or keyway, no adapter required.
