Command Medium Outdoor Wire Hooks come in a six-pack of slate-gray stainless-steel hooks with eight small adhesive strips. They are designed for hanging seasonal decorations, grilling tools, wreaths, signs, thermometers or artwork on smooth exterior surfaces such as doors, siding or trim. The adhesive formulation is water resistant, UV resistant and rated for temperature extremes from 20 degrees F to 125 degrees F. Like all Command products, they remove cleanly without holes or sticky residue.

Installation and Common Issues

Press each hook firmly onto a clean, dry, smooth surface for the recommended time to activate the adhesive bond. The strips are single-use, so repositioning after the initial press will reduce holding strength. Rough, textured or porous surfaces such as brick, stucco or unfinished wood prevent proper adhesion and are not suitable. Ensure the surface temperature is within the rated range before applying the strips.

Adhesive Performance Limits

The adhesive holds strongly in outdoor conditions but is limited to smooth, sealed surfaces and the stated temperature window of 20 to 125 degrees F. It will not bond reliably to rough, textured or porous materials, nor to surfaces that remain wet or oily. Each hook supports a single item; heavier loads or multiple objects per hook exceed the design intent. The strips are not reusable, so removal requires a fresh strip for reattachment.
