The Meraki MS120-8LP is a desktop or wall-mountable Layer 2 switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and a 64 W PoE budget. It is managed entirely through the Meraki cloud dashboard, so configuration and monitoring happen from a browser without on-site controllers. A Meraki licence is required to activate the management features and must be purchased separately.

This unit suits small offices, retail sites or branch locations that need to power a handful of VoIP phones, basic access points or IP cameras from a single compact device. The silent fanless design fits on a desk or shelf. Buyers who need to power many high-draw devices simultaneously should look elsewhere because the shared 64 W budget limits the number of Class 3 or Class 4 endpoints. Organisations that require on-premises CLI control or stacking will not find those features here.

Cloud management is the only supported control method and depends on an active licence.
