Classroom Foam Set 66 Pieces

The Chenille Kraft 384 Gorilla Foam Blocks set contains 66 extra-large pieces designed for teaching and learning environments. Bright assorted colours help young learners identify shapes while building spatial awareness. The soft foam construction reduces noise during group activities and minimises injury risk if blocks fall.

Replaces Small Tabletop Blocks

Larger foam pieces replace smaller tabletop sets that limit collaborative play and floor-based construction. The jump is worth it when a classroom needs durable, quiet materials that support whole-group engineering challenges. Smaller kits remain suitable for individual desk work or limited storage spaces.

Limited To Indoor Dry Use

Foam material absorbs moisture and degrades under prolonged sunlight, restricting the set to indoor, dry environments. Sharp objects or rough surfaces can tear the blocks, so play areas should be kept clear of hazards. The blocks do not interlock mechanically, so tall structures rely on gravity and balance alone.

Questions about this item

How much shelf space is needed to store all 66 blocks?

The 66-piece set requires a shelf or bin large enough to hold all blocks at once; plan for a container that accommodates the full assortment.

What is the correct way to unpack and organise the 66-piece set?

Open the box, sort the assorted pieces by shape or size, and place them in a storage bin; the step often missed is skipping the sort, which makes classroom distribution slower.

When should the foam blocks be replaced in a classroom setting?

Replace individual pieces when the foam shows deep indentations, tears, or crumbling edges that affect stacking stability; inspect the 66-piece set each term.
