Dual Monitor KVM for Two Computers

This BUCIER KVM switch lets you operate two computers or laptops with one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors. It supports extended or mirrored desktop modes across both displays. Each source must provide both an HDMI and a DisplayPort output and be capable of driving two screens simultaneously. Three USB 2.0 ports and an audio microphone output are also shared between the connected systems.

EDID Emulation Keeps Window Layouts

Built-in EDID emulators preserve each monitor’s native resolution and aspect ratio when you switch inputs, so application windows stay where you placed them. The switch conforms to HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 protocols, delivering up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz when both the source and the display support that rate. It is backward compatible with lower resolutions and refresh rates.

Front Panel and Wired Remote Switching

Installation requires connecting the power adapter, then linking each computer with one HDMI cable, one DisplayPort cable and one USB cable to the rear ports; monitors attach to the corresponding output ports. All cable connections face the rear to reduce desktop clutter. You can change the active computer using the buttons on the front panel or the included wired remote control. The unit weighs .53 kilograms and works with Windows 11, 10, 7, 2000, XP, Vista, Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu and Fedora.
