Pluggable Long Microphone for Discussion Systems

The Bosch DCN-MICL is a uni-directional microphone on an adjustable stem designed to plug directly into discussion units, Concentus systems, flush-mounted connection panels or interpreter desks. A built-in plop and windshield helps reduce unwanted breath and wind noise. Red and green illuminators show active or request-to-speak status.

Suits fixed installations needing direct panel

This microphone fits setups where a pluggable stem connects straight to a discussion unit or interpreter desk without extra cabling. It is not for users who need a wireless or stand-alone desktop microphone, nor for installations that require a different connector type or a shorter stem length.

Integrates with Bosch discussion and interpreter

The pluggable connector fastens directly to compatible Bosch discussion units, Concentus panels or interpreter desks, freeing the installer from separate microphone cables or external pre-amps. The adjustable stem lets each participant position the capsule for clear pick-up while the uni-directional pattern keeps ambient noise low.

Questions about this item

Which discussion units or interpreter desks accept this microphone's plug-in connector?

It plugs directly into Discussion units, Concentus, flush-mounted Microphone Connection panels, or Interpreter desks that provide the matching connector.

Will the uni-directional pickup still reject ambient noise if I keep using older conference speakers in the same room?

The uni-directional response is designed for optimum performance in high ambient-noise environments and has low susceptibility to mobile-phone interference regardless of other speakers.

How do I confirm the microphone is live after connecting it?

A red illuminator means the microphone is active; a green illuminator means a request-to-speak has been accepted.
