Purpose-built surveillance camera

The Bluecctv CS-B620SI2812 is an analog bullet camera designed for outdoor perimeter monitoring. It uses a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD II sensor to deliver 620 TV lines in colour and 700 TV lines in black-and-white. The varifocal 2.8-12mm lens lets installers adjust the field of view on site. Dual-voltage operation accepts 12V DC or 24V AC supplies.

Sustained outdoor performance

The IP67-rated housing protects the electronics from continuous exposure to rain and dust without ingress. Tru-WDR processing maintains usable contrast when bright sunlight and deep shadow appear in the same scene day after day. Forty infrared LEDs provide 131ft of illumination in total darkness, and the split-glass design reduces internal reflection that can degrade night footage over long periods. The day-and-night switch engages automatically as ambient light changes.

Installation practicalities

A three-axis bracket enables pan, tilt and roll adjustment so the camera can be aimed precisely after mounting. Full on-screen display menus support multiple languages for configuration without a separate controller. The dual-voltage input simplifies wiring when existing 24V AC infrastructure is present. Installers should verify that the recorder or DVR accepts analog CVBS signals, as this camera does not output digital or IP streams.
