The Bluecctv BL-FE180VD is a compact analogue camera built for wide-area indoor surveillance. Its fisheye lens delivers a 180° panoramic view with no blind spot in the centre, making it suitable for halls, offices, waiting rooms and self-service banking areas. The vandal-resistant metal housing protects the 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD sensor and simplifies installation in tight spaces.

Upgrade from standard fixed lenses

Replacing a conventional narrow-angle camera with this model removes the need for multiple units to cover the same room. The jump is worth it when a single mounting point must monitor an entire open-plan area and when digital WDR, noise reduction and highlight suppression are required to handle mixed lighting. Adjustable shutter speed also improves capture of fast-moving objects.

Analogue 12 V DC and RS-485 limits

The camera transmits a 700TVL composite video signal over coaxial cable and draws power from a 12 V DC supply. Control and configuration rely on an RS-485 link for OSD access, so the recorder or controller must support that protocol. Bandwidth and resolution are capped by the analogue standard, and no network streaming or onboard recording is available.
