An inside diameter of 1 1/32 in accommodates the center post or standpipe in the filter head. No thread size applies, so the filter seats by pressure and the included gaskets rather than by screwing into a port.

Practical limits of the 5 micron rating

A 5 micron rating stops fine particles but creates higher restriction than coarser elements as the filter loads. It will not remove water from the fuel stream unless the housing includes a separate separator bowl. Systems requiring a finer micron rating or a spin-on thread connection cannot use this cartridge.
