This Baldwin Filters 301-MPG cartridge fuel filter is built for diesel and heavy-equipment fuel systems that require fine particle removal. It uses a Maximum Performance Glass element rated at 5 microns to protect injectors and pumps from abrasive wear. The unit includes an attached gasket and O-ring for a reliable seal.

5-Micron Capacity and Headroom

The 5-micron glass media captures fine contaminants while maintaining flow for typical diesel fuel circuits. It handles normal service intervals in on-highway trucks, agricultural machinery and stationary engines. In heavily contaminated fuel or extended-drain schedules the element will load faster and require earlier replacement.

Cartridge Interface Practical Limits

The cartridge design has no thread specification and relies on a compatible filter housing with a 1 15/32-inch inside diameter and 3 1/4-inch seal surface. It fits housings that accept a 9 11/16-inch tall by 6 1/16-inch wide element. Systems needing a different micron rating, spin-on mounting or higher flow capacity will need a separate filter configuration.
