Axiom 10GBase-AOC SFP+ Active Optical Cable 5M

This Axiom cable provides a 10 Gbps SFP+ active optical link over a 5 metre length. It is suited for network administrators connecting switches, routers or servers in data-centre or enterprise racks. The assembly arrives new and ready for immediate deployment in compatible SFP+ ports.

Sustained 10 Gbps throughput over 5 metres

The active optical design maintains the full 10 Gbps rate continuously across the 5 metre span without the signal degradation that copper twinax exhibits at this distance. It is not intended for connections beyond 5 metres or for lower-speed SFP ports that do not support 10G optics.
