Dual Band 2.4/5.8 GHz Antenna Kit

This two-pack supplies 8 dBi omni-directional antennas with RP-SMA male connectors and 30 cm U.FL pigtail cables. It targets owners of Mini PCI-E wireless cards, routers, access points or IP cameras who need stronger signal on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands. The kit is not for builders using M.2 NGFF network cards because the U.FL cables are incompatible with that interface.

Build Integration and Flexibility

Each antenna attaches via its RP-SMA male plug while the included 30 cm RG178 cables connect to U.FL sockets on Mini PCI-E cards or motherboards with external antenna headers. The short pigtails keep cable routing tidy inside laptop chassis or compact enclosures. Buyers without U.FL-equipped Mini PCI-E hardware cannot use the supplied cables and would need different connectors.

Capacity and Headroom

The 8 dBi gain extends usable range on 2400–2485 MHz and 5150–5850 MHz channels for typical home, office or vehicle-mounted camera links. In dense RF environments or at extreme distances the fixed gain may prove insufficient and higher-gain directional antennas would be required.
