Expansion for Memoir 44

Memoir 44 Operation Overlord is an expansion designed for players who already own the base Memoir 44 game. It enables large-scale Overlord scenarios for up to eight participants divided into two teams. The set includes an updated rules booklet covering the Eastern Front and Pacific Theater. It is not a stand-alone product and requires a Battle Map such as Hedgerow Hell.

Large-team command structure

Gameplay shifts from a two-player duel to a multi-player chain of command with up to four players per side. Teams must coordinate orders across a larger battlefield using two decks of 64 cards each. The 178 tokens represent American, Russian, German and Japanese forces when physical figures are unavailable. Eight additional dice support the increased volume of combat rolls during extended sessions.

Components integrate with base game

Installation means adding the Overlord rules booklet, the two specialised card decks, the tokens and the extra dice to your existing Memoir 44 collection. No assembly is required beyond sorting the new components. The expansion assumes ownership of the original game and a compatible Battle Map; without them the material cannot be used. Scenarios are not included and must be sourced from the Battle Map series.
