Purpose and fit

The Ashcroft 251009 is a new industrial pressure gauge built for monitoring systems that operate between 0 and 15 psi. Its 1/4-inch NPT male lower-back connection suits panel installations where space behind the dial is limited. The 2-1/2-inch dial with a white face provides clear readings for maintenance technicians and plant operators. It is not intended for applications requiring higher pressure ranges or different connection types.

Environmental protection

The 304 stainless-steel case carries an IP54 rating when the vent plug is open and IP65 when the plug is closed, matching NEMA 4 in the closed state. This sealing level protects the movement from dust and water jets in wash-down areas. The polycarbonate lens resists impact without adding weight. No active cooling or power draw is involved, so acoustic noise and thermal output are not factors.

Mounting and calibration

The gauge ships with a fixed 1/4-inch NPT lower-back process connection and a ventable plug for pressure equalisation. Field filling is not supported, so the factory calibration of ±1.00 percent full scale remains the reference point. The metallic case colour and stainless construction simplify identification in crowded panels. No additional accessories, software or mounting hardware are included.
