Arborix 1-Inch Knockout Plugs

Arborix Knockout Plugs are 1-inch trade-size fittings designed to seal unused openings in electrical boxes. The pack contains 40 black nylon pieces that snap into place without tools. They suit electricians and DIY installers who need a quick, code-compliant way to close knockouts during new work or remodel projects.

Not for metric or larger openings

These plugs fit only 1-inch trade-size knockouts, so they will not work in metric-sized holes or larger trade sizes. Buyers who need to seal 3/4-inch or 1-1/4-inch openings should look for the matching trade-size version. The snap-in design also means they are not intended for threaded or locknut-secured applications.

Snap-in nylon for standard boxes

Each plug weighs 1.6 ounces total for the 40-piece pack and measures 1 x 1 x 1 inches per piece. The nylon construction resists cracking during installation and requires no additional hardware. They free up time on the job by eliminating the need for separate bushings or locknuts when closing standard knockouts.

Questions about this item

What type of junction box knockout do these 1‑inch trade‑size plugs fit?

They snap into standard 1‑inch trade‑size knockouts on metal or non‑metallic electrical boxes.

Can I use these nylon plugs in an enclosure that already has metal cable clamps installed?

Yes, the snap‑in design seats alongside existing clamps without interfering with their grip on the cables.

How do I confirm each of the 40 plugs is seated correctly after installation?

Push until the bushing clicks flush with the box wall; a gentle tug should not dislodge the plug.
