This 2 in malleable iron elbow creates a 90 degree change of direction in threaded pipework. It is rated Class 150 for Schedule 40 pipe and carries a maximum operating pressure of 300 psi at 150 degrees F. The fitting suits installers joining two female NPT ends in drainage or general plumbing systems.

The Class 150 rating provides headroom for typical low pressure water, air or gas lines running at or below 300 psi. It runs out when system pressure or temperature exceeds the 150 degrees F limit or when the piping schedule demands a heavier wall than Schedule 40.

Female NPT on both ends

Both ports are 2 in female NPT threads, so the elbow only connects to male threaded pipe or nipples. It will not join to female threaded components, solvent weld plastic, flanged connections or any non NPT thread form without an adapter.
