This copper-filled PTFE tape creates leak-proof seals on pipe threads while protecting against corrosion, rusting and galvanic pitting. Capacity and Headroom

A 600 in roll at 3/4 in width covers many threaded joints with room to spare for rework or multiple fittings. It handles gas pressures up to 300 psi and liquid pressures up to 10,000 psi, so it fits residential and most industrial piping. The material density of 1.2 to 1.5 sg provides consistent fill without excess bulk. Beyond those pressure limits or outside the rated temperature range, a different sealing method is required.

The tape remains stable from -400 to 550 degrees F, maintaining seal integrity across extreme temperature swings without degrading.
