The Albion Inc. Zoro Select 5VP61 is a steel floor lock designed to secure wheeled equipment in a fixed position. It suits workshops, warehouses or garages where carts or workstations must stay stationary during use. The lock mounts directly to a compatible caster plate for quick installation. It is built for indoor environments that demand a simple, mechanical hold.

Plate mounting and height range

The unit uses a B bolt-hole pattern with a 4 in x 4-1/2 in mounting plate that fits standard caster brackets. Inside bolt-hole spacing measures 2-5/8 in x 3-5/8 in and outside spacing measures 3 in x 3 in. It is made for a caster mounting height of 9 1/2 in and works with an 8 in wheel diameter. The lock retracts to 8 3/8 in and extends to 9 3/4 in to engage the floor.

Steel construction under load

The all-steel body resists deformation when the lock is engaged under sustained equipment weight. The broad foot distributes force evenly across the floor surface to prevent slipping. No hydraulic or pneumatic parts are present, so holding power remains consistent over long periods. The mechanism is not suited for applications that require frequent, rapid cycling.
