Extra-large gel pack for broad coverage

The AiricePac AP-ICE PACK-XL is an XXL reusable cold compress measuring 11 by 20 inches. It targets swelling, bruises and post-surgery discomfort across the back, hip, shoulder, knee and other large muscle groups. The gel stays flexible at minus 13 degrees so it moulds to joints and contours without stiffening. A soft plush cover on one side prevents condensation drips and eases the skin into cold therapy.

Practical limits of gel-based cold therapy

The pack must be frozen before each use and will gradually warm against body heat, limiting continuous treatment time. It provides only cold therapy; there is no heating function for contrast treatments. The gel cannot be cooled below its freezing point without a freezer, so instant activation away from a power source is not possible. Users needing longer sessions will need a second pack to rotate.

Simple freezer preparation and common issues

Place the pack in the supplied storage bag and freeze until solid; the bag also keeps it separate from food. The dual-sided design lets you choose plush comfort or direct nylon intensity by flipping the wrap. Leakage is rare but can occur if the sealed edge is punctured by sharp objects. The large dimensions may not fit compact freezer drawers without rearranging shelves.
